One of the biggest, and certainly the most important parts of being an Indie Author, in my opinion, is promotion. Yes, you need to have an Author Platform, marketing campaign and strategy, but where do you advertise for your promotions?

Here are just a few newsletter subscriber accounts to look into to get your started: Mailerlite, Mailchimp, Active Campaign, Constant Contact... There is also, Get Response for a great split level campaigning technique.
Or better yet, ask your author friends what platform they use and get started today.

There are several newsletter services to advertise your book for free in, but do they get the same ROI(Return On Investment) than a paid newsletter advertisement?
Some have a pretty good turn out, but with anything else in life, the more you put in the more you get out.
Actually, that isn't always true either. I've found some pretty expensive NL adverts with hardly any ROI. It can get frustrating.
So, why not do both! The more places you can advertise the better.

To help out with your paid advertising search, here's a few that I have found have a great ROI, but be warned, you need to pay close attention to the requirements for each one.
Yes, there are a ton more places, but these have never let me down no matter what type of promotion I am running.
